Spectacular Display Of Color - Tulip Fields

自然 No Comments »

At first glance it looks like as if these aren’t real, but a creation on canvas. Millions of tulips in various colors like pink, orange, purple, yellow, red, & green create this amazing effect. Both the flower & its name originated in the Ottoman Empire, although tulips are associated with Holland. A tulip isn’t actually a Dutch flower as many tend to believe. And as a matter of fact, tulips were brought to Europe in the 16th century. The tulip, or “Lale” as it is called in Turkey, is a flower indigenous to certain parts of Central Asia. Though these amazing fields are like a rainbow, this colorful landscape is a short-lived phenomenon as once the flowers are gone, there comes the regular crops of vegetables.
